Design in Dialogue #46: Patricia Urquiola

July 31, 2020

Architect Patricia Urquiola is one of the most successful and influential designers in the world. Since 2001, from her base in Milan at Studio Urquiola, she leads an international team of creatives that collectively work across nearly all architecture, interiors, & product categories in the luxury lifestyle sector. Her recent projects include hospitality, commercial spaces, and products for the world’s best design brands. In 2015, Patricia Urquiola became the art director of the historic and contemporary furniture brand Cassina. Hosted by Stephen Burks, our conversation touched upon her inspiration, long-time collaborations, and her joyful capacity for generating such a powerfully creative and diverse body of work.
