Curator Renny Ramakers has said, “I have always believed in the necessity to reimagine today’s world, to offer alternative perspectives, and in the power of art as a catalyst to create social change.” In this conversation, Ramakers shared insights from her hugely influential career, from the formation of the design collective Droog in the early 1990s to her most recent exhibition, “NOW LOOK HERE: The African Art of Appearance.”
