The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston acquires commissioned work by Byung Hoon Choi, designed in 2018 for one of the entrances at the MFA Houston’s new Kinder Building. Made from black basalt, the trio of sculptures reaches about ten feet tall and rises above a reflecting pool. The vertical sculpture trio is titled “Scholar’s Way” as a reinterpretation of the traditional scholar’s ethos.
