Design in Dialogue #73: Suvi Saloniemi

November 11, 2020

Suvi Saloniemi, Chief Curator at Design Museum Helsinki, is an inspirational innovator who often stages encounters between design and other art forms, such as music and contemporary art. She joined us to discuss the new architecture and design museum for Helsinki, currently in development, as well as her thoughts on curatorial response to the events of 2020, and her institution’s innovative Open Call series – a tool for transdisciplinary curating, which positions the museum as a critical platform.
