INTERSECT ART ASPEN 2021

For the 2021 edition of Intersect Art Aspen, Friedman Benda will present works that represent the generational depth and international breadth of the core of the artist roster, including: Joris Laarman’s (Dutch, b. 1979) use of cutting-edge research, development and technology exemplified by his 2013 Light Matter table; ceramic designs of gallery newcomer, Carmen D’Apollonio (Swiss, b. 1973); the widely recognizable aesthetics of Daniel Arsham (American, b. 1980), Misha Kahn (American, b. 1989) and Estudio Campana (Brazilian, b. 1961 and 1953); variety of media including glass by Thaddeus Wolfe (American, b. 1979) and ceramics by Adam Silverman (American, b. 1963) and Andile Dyalvane (South African, b. 1978); as well as examples of important work by seminal designers, Andrea Branzi (Italian, b. 1932) and Wendell Castle (American, 1932-2018).
