Born in 1990 in Harbin, China, FEI Yining is an artist and designer living and working in Shanghai. FEI’s works span 3D animation, moving-image, sculpture and design, exploring human emotions against the backdrop of the digital age. FEI graduated from Parsons School of Design with an MFA degree in Design and Technology.

She combines the absurd and the real to present speculative tales and fantastical worlds. By building multi-media narratives – spanning from 3D animation, moving-image, and sculpture, FEI explores the possible alternative states of existence in the post-human era.
