Paul S. Briggs joins the School of Art & Design at Alfred University, as Assistant Professor of Ceramics in fall 2023

          On joining Alfred University faculty, Briggs states, “Since my undergraduate days, the NYSCC at Alfred University became the essential influence in my development as an artist. But returning to teach at the Alfred University school of Art and Design is more than a homecoming. I feel honored to become part of a legacy of commitment to education in the ceramic arts. I am joining, and broadening, an increasingly diverse faculty of creative role models who will be here to encourage present and future contemporary students of art as my professors were for me.
